Why can't I log in before the semester begins?

Solution You will not be able to log in to a class in Blackboard until the semester has started and it is the first official day of the course. In addition, it is up to each instructor to make their course "available" in Blackboard, so once you are able to log in, if you see the message "You are not currently enrolled in any courses" under the My Courses box, it most likely means that the instructor has not "opened" the course to students in Blackboard yet. Some instructors do not make courses available for login until after they have held their orientation sessions.

If you need to purchase books, you can go to the online bookstore at:

Just enter your course number and section to find out what books are required and/or purchase them.

Once classes have started, you will be able to log in to Blackboard at:
http://clpccd.blackboard.com/
