If a section of a course you want is full, you may still be able to add, but you must contact the instructor to: 1) find out if they are willing to add any more students, and if so, 2) obtain an add authorization number. For an online course, the best way to contact an instructor is by email. For an on campus course, it is best to just show up for the first class meeting to find out if there is space available.

You can find instructor email addresses for online courses by going to the course listing page and placing your pointer on the name of the instructor (without clicking the mouse). The instructor's email address will appear in the status bar at the lower left of your browser window. Note: If the status bar is not visible, click on the View menu in your browser window and then click Status bar.

Please be aware that instructors may not respond to email immediately. This does not necessarily mean they did not receive it. Also, some instructors prefer for students to come to their orientation sessions to request adding in to a course.
