Welcome to my Biology 10 Website!

During the Spring 2008 semester, I will be teaching Biology 10, general biology for non-majors. We will start with an overview of life on Earth and how the physical environment influences it. Each student will choose an ecosystem to study in depth and apply what is learned from the course material to periodic written reports. After a brief introduction to plants and animals, we will study DNA, the blueprint for life, and genetics. The last section of the course will concentrate on the human body and how its different systems function.
