Overview
Biology 10 is a survey course designed to introduce students to scientific
thought and the nature of living things. Students will learn basic scientific
principles, vocabulary and techniques. The course will cover: cell structure
and function, introductory chemistry, cell division, genetics, ecology,
evolution and a little human physiology. Biology 10 fulfills a general
education requirement. My goal is to give students an appreciation for
the scientific process and enough background to understand news about
biology. Science impacts our daily lives in many ways that include bioengineered
food, medical techniques and legal evidence.
